Hesitation and its evil step sister procrastination when it comes to your online business efforts, can mean the dividing line between earning conversions on your blog, earning money, and the visitor just clicking away empty handed.
Consider when you procrastinate, think of the opportunities that are passing you by, slipping out of your grasp.
Timing is everything. You should hate to be late. It’s proven the early bird gets the worm. You hesitate, you’re cooked.
Hesitation is like watching opportunity flash on by. It can mean income today or struggling for another day.
Money likes speed. Success depends on how fast you process information, and the willingness to take action.
Your response time can be a critical factor when you’re attempting to market your goods, publish content, attempting to stay on top of the latest trends in a swift moving market.
It becomes critical you examine the areas where you are hesitating, stalling, procrastinating, and then realize those opportunities you’re allowing to slip by.
Realize the opportunities you’re skipping, because you allowed yourself to miss that opportunity as you tell yourself, maybe next time.

There are many who become overwhelmed when it comes to technology.
This gives them the excuse to procrastinate and become afraid, and will just delay working on their blog or their online marketing plan for another day.

Having a company website or blog is now a core requirement, and the most inexpensive way of promoting your presence.

Your number one responsibility when marketing is to sell yourself first.
The word ?sell? however has a negative connotation for many, as it can conjure up unpleasant thoughts, such as you’re violating the territory of others.
Make sure on your blog you have an “About Me” section. Come across as if you’re having a face-to-face conversation about who you are, and what it is you do.
Never pass up the opportunity to promote yourself or your business.
Is Opportunity Passing You By
It’s remarkable how many opportunities you’re presented with on a daily basis.
You constantly see them, you think it may be a great opportunity, and then you dismiss them once you hesitate. Procrastination forces you to not take advantage of them.
But with just a few minutes of following through, usually at little cost or effort, you can investigate these promotional offerings and check them out.
How many projects do you currently have on the go? How many do you start, and then abandon them soon after. This is one of the biggest self-sabotage actions many take.
How many projects have you began, got distracted and moved on to something new.
Instead, adopt the attitude of finishing everything you start. It’s refreshing to follow through on something to its completion.
If it turns out to be blatantly bad, then at least you can learn from it.
If you don’t like what the final outcome is, you might be able to salvage the project somehow for another use, such as publishing the articles elsewhere or by compiling an e-book.
Make Immediate Decisions Now
Making decisions in a timely manner is something most struggle with. The biggest concern being they might be wasting their time, by not taking the effort to think things through properly.
You might not have enough data, or you’re not comfortable with what you know. You just don’t want to make the wrong decision.
It’s easy to become distracted, sidetracked, which keeps you hesitating when it comes to making decisions.
Hesitation when it comes to business translates into lost revenue.
While there isn’t a magic “button” on when or how to make a decision on something, there’s also no point thinking too long about it.
Inaction will get you nowhere, you’ll just become discouraged and disappointed.
Even if you make a decision you might not like, taking action and pushing forward at the very least gives you immediate feedback.
You’ll then learn something new which allows you to correct the error and try it again. Taking action allows success to come to you a lot quicker.
Putting Things Off
Procrastination is hesitation at its peak. When you consciously put things off, you’re stopping the flow on everything. If things don’t flow, don’t expect any new business to show up.
If there are tasks you don’t enjoy doing, delegate or outsource them out. If you are a solopreneur, hire a virtual assistant to handle the drudge work for you.
If you’re not progressing along with your business ideas or projects, consider forming a partnership or an alliance with someone else, as doing so can serve to motivate both of you.
First Impressions Count
Similar to not completing projects, developing a habit of not backing up your words or actions, can bring disastrous consequences.
This is the reason why it’s said “You only get one opportunity to make a good first impression.”
A client might have a good initial impression of you or your business at the beginning.
But if you can’t maintain a consistent level of attention or service to them, your standards falter, then the relationship becomes fractured.
This could be not promptly returning phone calls or emails, not delivering a product or service on time.
Always make sure you complete these tasks efficiently and on time as promised.
Our word becomes who we are. When you tell someone you’re going to do something, it becomes extremely important you follow through.
The first time you break any type of promise, this depending on its severity, it can be the last time that person will do business with you.
If you find keeping promises difficult or are you’re not organized, then delegate them out.
There are also times when breaking a promise becomes necessary, once a client begins making to many outstanding demands which are outside the scope of the original agreement.
In these cases, it comes down to protecting the integrity of who you and your business are, so do the best you can.
Overall, by keeping your word, your promise becomes critical to your success, especially those promises you make to yourself.
